Bethany Congregational Church - United Church of Christ - extends a hearty welcome to all who visit in worship and fellowship. The church reaches out to all people who seek the love of God and desire to walk together in the ways of Jesus Christ as revealed in the Holy Scriptures. The church claims as its own, the faith of the historic Church expressed in the ancient creeds and reclaimed in the insights of the Protestant Reformers. This church also recognizes its own, all religious insights of faith as historically expressed in the predecessor denominations of the United Church of Christ and affirms the responsibility of each generation to make this faith its own in the reality of worship, in honesty of thought and expression, and in the purity of heart before God.
