Bethany Church takes seriously its Christian responsibility to seek to serve others. We believe strongly in the message of Jesus that "as you treat other people, you treat God". Towards that purpose, the church provides:

Fifth Sunday "Workship" mission and outreach programs "Under The Bridge" luncheon program for the homeless Community Food Pantry Partnership ministry with San Antonio Christian Assistance Ministry Support of the CROP Walk for hunger awareness Senior Days Out program for viewing Christmas lights and Spring Flowers Youth Ministry Super Sub Sandwich Sale in Support of Local food pantry Mission awareness week-ends - A hands-on Mission Work Project In addition, the membership and Friends of Bethany Church support both local and denominational outreach and service programs of the United Church of Christ including: One Great Hour of Sharing Neighbors in Need Veterans of the Cross Christmas Fund Eden Home Senior Center Slumber Falls Camp and camping programs San Antonio Food Bank San Antonio Christian Assistance Ministry San Antonio Community of Churches
