2008 Pictures December 14, 2008 There was a large crowd in church this morning. Afterwards the Social Hall was filled with people who shared in the fellowship. December 7, 2008 The young people lit the second Christmas candle. November 23, 2008 Everyone had plenty of reasons to feel thankful as we gathered around the tables in Culver Hall. November 2, 2008 This morning we had the great joy of receiving Kyle and Sarah Bowman into our congregation. September 14, 2008 Participating in this morning's worship was a liturgical dance group under the direction of Sharon Dixon. July 13, 2008 Leading us in worship this morning was the Rev. Wilmer Brown who is also a member of our congregation. May 18, 2008 The sermon was the production of the confirmation class.  They began with the scripture passage on the feeding of the 5000, and concluded with a practical example of sharing. May 11, 2008 Bethany Church celebrated the confirmation of 4 young people. They are: David Gil, Tyler Jackson, Adam Koch, and Amanda Lonas. April 20, 2008 The congregation was privileged to witness the sacrament of holy baptism bestowed upon Lance Hadrian Stribley, infant son of Beth and Adam Stribley. They were married in our church and were active participants in the life of the church while living in San Antonio. April 6, 2008 Sunday fellowship after the rummage sale. April 5, 2008 (Rummage Sale) The annual rummage sale was a great success. March 23, 2008 (Easter Sunday) The many members and visitors at the second service enjoyed the participation of the Sunday School in the worship service. March 16, 2008 (Palm Sunday) During the service this morning the Camp Fire Club of Bethany Church spoke of the purpose and activities of their group. The church is fortunate to have this dedicated group of children and their advisers. March 9, 2008 This morning we celebrated the Holy Baptism of Nathan Freise, son of Brent and Julianna Freise. The infant enjoyed the experience. March 2, 2008 (CROP Walk) After church, a large group of walkers took part in the annual Crop Wallk to raise funds to help the very poor both in this country and in other countries. February 24, 2008 Our new pianist at church is Juanita Ulloa. February 10, 2008 There was a long line of people waiting for refreshments. January 20, 2008 As soon as the service ended, Debbie Huffman conducted the annual meeting of the church. January 6, 2008 (Epiphany Sunday) The kid's sermon for Epiphany Sunday centered around a cell phone and a pen.
